We are a locally owned boutique property management company, working in the Christchurch and the surrounding Canterbury area. Our aim is to keep our fees low and still provided excellent services to both our landlords and tenants.
Interhome Property Management does not believe it is all about collecting rent! Investors who place rental properties in our care can relax and not worry. We protect your asset and care for it as if it were our own investment. We will never put someone in your property that we wouldn’t put in one of ours. Tenant selection is a very important part of the process. We Endeavour to carry out thorough credit and reference checks. We carry out an inspection after the first 6 weeks of when the tenant moved into the property and 3 monthly checks thereafter. This allows us to find issues early before they become a problem. We also have a 24 hour service for emergencies.
Piece of mind is about good communication from your property manager. We run a portfolio based property management company. Your property manager will look after you, the landlord, the tenant and your property, rather than dealing with different people. Dealing with a number of different people managing your property could lead to misunderstandings and no responsibility.
We want to make owning a rental property as stress free as possible. Sometimes difficult conversations need to be had with tenants, we have the difficult conversations for you.
We have zero tolerance to rent arrear, we contact the tenant it the first instance.
We aim to excel in your expectations. If a little more cleaning is required after a final inspection or some small maintenance issue arise, we will do our best to attend to this without calling out a trade’s person in the first instance.
